Cannes Film Festival – dazzling jewellery on the red carpet

Cannes film festival has sadly come to an end (sigh), so we feel it’s time to take a moment and reminisce about all the magnificent looks and scintillating jewellery pieces that graced the Cannes red carpet. The stars’ jewellery picks Bella Heathcote looked fantastic on the red carpet for her premiere of her new movie ‘Neon Demon’.  Bella’s jewellery stunned from afar, and her elegantly designed diamond pieces perfectly complimented her statement red dress.  We were particularly taken by her Toi et Moi ring and feature contemporary diamond drop earrings; a perfect choice for her slicked back honey blonde hair. Bella looked picture perfect! The 34-year-old star kept her accessories simple, her hair upswept and her gorgeous Chopard pear drop earrings crafted from a large pear cut pink diamond, surrounded by a halo of diamonds.   Kirsten-Dunst-Cannes-Film-Festival Kirsten-Dunst-Cannes-Film-Festival-2016 Getty Images Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio brought the 69th edition of the Cannes Film Festival to the perfect end in true ‘glamourzon’ style. She certainly deserves to be our favourite look.  She looked fantastic in a sparkling strapless dress by Zuhair Murad, perfectly glammed up with a diamond serpent Bulgari platinum necklace, boasting 76 carats of pavé set diamonds.  The necklace dazzled in the light with vivacity. Alexandra Ambrosio Cannes Film Festival Getty Images We do love to see serpent jewellery on the red carpet. The serpent is wrapped up in history and is one of the oldest mythological symbols today. The design is ageless and remains just as popular today as it was in Egyptian times, with big stars such as Sienna Miller and Alessandra Ambrosio still opting for this classic, slithering beauty. Cannes Film Festival 2016 will go down as being one of the year’s most ostentatious events. There were so many looks that we absolutely loved from this year, but please let us know what your favourite celebrity ensembles were at this years event!
