Coloured gemstones for spring

Gemstones are available in every colour: from clear to black, with all the colours of the rainbow in between. Inspired by some of our favourite celebrities, and royal family members, we’ve put together a guide featuring some of our top picks from our Rainbow Collection. Here's how you can wear enchanting gemstones; Aquamarine, Tourmaline, Morganite and Ametrine this spring season.

Aquamarine

With its sky blue colour, Aquamarine boasts truly spring-like tones, as well as being March’s birthstone. This dreamy pale blue stone is linked to new friendships, as well as affection and love, hope and health. With this gemstone, you can expect an increase in creativity, courage and overall happiness with its ability to combat negative energy. Last year, Prince Harry gifted Meghan Markle with Princess Diana’s stunning Aquamarine ring, traditionally making its rightful place as her ‘something blue’. Her Cartier diamond stud earrings and bracelet were her ‘new’, and Queen Mary’s diamond Bandeau Tiara was her ‘something old’ and ‘something borrowed’. Her famous ‘something blue’ made a sentimental honour to Harry’s mother and was spotted on her hand at the reception of the wedding, and soon became a spring wedding trend. Tourmaline

Tourmaline can come in many beautiful colours including, blue, green, red, yellow, pink and more. Pink tourmaline specifically carries unconditional love and friendship, radiating the highest amount of love of all the tourmalines. It is a calming stone that dispels negative emotions, instils confidence and introduces wisdom and compassionate qualities - the perfect stone for a positive spring season. Modern Family actress, Ariel Winter, attended the Annual Golden Globe Awards wearing a dazzling pair of earrings featuring pink tourmaline. Brumani diamond, aquamarine and ruby were also incorporated into these show-stopping earrings. These rightful red carpet earrings work magnificently with Ariel’s red dress, with the jewellery’s pinks and reds being picked out perfectly. Morganite

Like emerald and aquamarine, morganite is a form of beryl, often referred to as ‘pink beryl’. Given its charming pink hue, its association with love, romance and harmony doesn't come as a surprise. Most importantly though, this glorious stone is said to promote independence in women. So if you long for a beautiful ring but have yet to find the right suitor, it’s time to treat yourself. Many women would wish for Ryan Renolds to be their suitor, and the stunning Blake Lively is the lucky lady. Ryan proposed to Blake with a magnificent oval solitaire diamond ring with a distinctive and feminine light pink tint. This gorgeous morganite and diamond halo trilogy ring takes quite the spotlight in our new Rainbow Collection. Handcrafted from 18ct white gold and featuring three outstanding morganite gemstones, all surrounded by brilliant sparkling diamonds, this ring is simply mesmerising. If there’s ever a perfect way to treat yourself, it’s with this stunning ring that can be kept forever as a symbol of self-love and independence. Ametrine

Ametrine is a naturally occurring variety of quartz, and it is a beautiful mixture of amethyst and citrine with stunning tones of purple, yellow and orange. The harmonious and balancing energies of Ametrine provide magical healing properties and help towards creativity, vitality, intuition and inner strength. Selena Gomez is a fan of Ametrine and fashioned a show-stopping 18k yellow gold Ametrine ring while walking the Women of the Year red carpet.
